Community Discussion Heroin Epidemic

On Sat. March 12 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Comfort Inn & Suites there will be a community discussion regarding the heroin epidemic.  This event is sponsored by BPD and the Brimfield Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Mental Health & Recovery Board and the Portage County Health Department.

BPD Celebrity Servers at Brimfield Family Restaurant Grand Opening

Chief Mosley and staff were on hand recently for the grand opening of Brimfield Family Restaurant helping to serve food that day.  A special thanks to Sgt. Knarr and K-9 Havoc for stopping by and spending time with patrons that day as well!

BPD Hosts Senior Breakfast Event

On Tuesday December 15th & Wednesday December 16th BPD hosted our community’s seniors at Beef O’Bradys for breakfast and fellowship.  BPD Officers and volunteers were on hand to serve over 300 seniors breakfast.  Thank you to all of our seniors who came out to spend time with us this week.

Breakfast With Santa Benefiting D.A.R.E.

BPD staff and volunteers were at Applebees on Sat. December 5th serving breakfast for our Breakfast With Santa event.  All ticket proceeds collected benefited the Brimfield D.A.R.E. Program.  Thank you to everyone for coming out!  

Coffee With A Cop Community Event

Thank you to General Manager Shelley and her staff at McDonalds of Brimfield for being such gracious hosts for our “Coffee With A Cop” community event on Saturday October 3rd.   Thank you also to everyone who stopped in to meet and chat with members of our department!  We will look to partner with McDonalds again next Spring for another Coffee…read more →

BPD Supports Back To School

  Did you know?  The Brimfield Police Department accepts donations of school supplies to benefit students in need within the Field Local School district.  Look for the sign in front of the police department when school supply donations are being accepted.  Thank you for your support of our students!

BPD Supports our Seniors

  On June 17, 2015 members of BPD came out to support our seniors at the township luncheon hosted at the service garage.  Sgt. David Knarr, Officer John Pettit, Sgt. Brimfield PD Sponsors Field Youth Baseball Team
