BPD Officers Recognized at Jan. 18th Board Meeting

Sgt. Matthew McCarty, Officer Kelly Rbya and Officer Matthew Kennedy were recognized with awards at the Jan. 18th Board of Trustees meeting.  Sgt. McCarty was recognized at our Officer of the Year for 2016.  Officer Kennedy was recognized for his traffic and OVI enforcement efforts. BPD Christmas Senior Breakfast Event

BPD hosted our annual Christmas Senior Breakfast at Beef O’ Brady’s on 12/20 and 12/21.  Thank you to all of our residents who attended and to our staff and volunteers who served breakfast and spent time with our community’s seniors!

Christmas Fill-A-Cruiser a Success

Thank you to our staff and volunteers who helped out for our community Fill-A-Cruiser on Sat. December 10th.  It was awfully cold outside, and we appreciate the generosity of everyone who stopped by and made a small donation that will directly benefit the Brimfield Community Cupboard!  Thank you!

Breakfast With Santa at Applebees

BPD “Breakfast With Santa” is Sat. December 3rd at Applebees.  BPD staff and volunteers will be serving breakfast and the kids will get an opportunity to meet Santa.  Contact Patti at BPD for tickets (330) 673-7716.  $9/Adults, $6/Kids.

MADD Recognizes Local Law Enforcement

Congratulations to Officer Matthew Kennedy who, along with representatives from the other Portage County law enforcement agencies, was recognized for his efforts in drunk driving enforcement.  Officer Kennedy has served with BPD since 2013.
