BPD “Breakfast With Santa” is Sat. December 3rd at Applebees. BPD staff and volunteers will be serving breakfast and the kids will get an opportunity to meet Santa. Contact Patti at BPD for tickets (330) 673-7716. $9/Adults, $6/Kids.
Congratulations to Officer Matthew Kennedy who, along with representatives from the other Portage County law enforcement agencies, was recognized for his efforts in drunk driving enforcement. Officer Kennedy has served with BPD since 2013.
BPD staff and volunteers were at Walmart, Speedway and Marshall’s on Sat. November 12th collecting non-perishable food and donations to benefit the Brimfield Community Cupboard for those in need for Thanksgiving. Thank you to our volunteers and to everyone who contributed!
BPD in partnership with McDonalds is hosting a “Coffee With a Cop” event on Saturday November 19th from 8:30AM-10:30AM. Hope you can stop by for coffee and conversation.
On Sat. October 22nd, BPD was on hand with Lisa Irwin at The Field Restaurant and Sports Bar as we collected “coats for kids” to benefit kids in area school districts and Adopt A Child through the Brimfield Community Cupboard. Thank you to Officer Putnam for coordinating our Department’s partnership on this worthwhile community event!
