BPD Unveils New Cruiser Graphics

BPD recently updated our cruiser graphics to a traditional black and white color scheme. The graphics incorporate our updated agency patch and mirror the color scheme of our community school district.

Birthday Party for Future Officer

BPD was recently contacted by the grandmother of a very young resident – 5-year old Connor (he is the the little guy dressed up in a police officer outfit) and invited to “crash” Connor’s police themed birthday party.  Connor’s family recently moved to Brimfield. Thank you for inviting us to stop by – we had a great time!  Happy Birthday Connor!

BPD at Kelso House Easter Egg Hunt

BPD was at the Kelso House on Sat. April 15th for their community Easter Egg Hunt event.  All of the kiddos in attendance had a great time!  

Pinwheels Highlight Child Abuse Awareness

Officer Brett Dinkelman and other community volunteers placed colorful pinwheels at town center recently.  The pinwheels represent the number of child abuse cases investigated last year in our county.

H&R Block Thanks BPD

Thank you to Michelle and Donna with H& R Block for stopping by the station last week to drop off K-9 treats and sweets for our officers. We appreciate your very kind gesture!

K-9 Drug Sweep at Schools

On Fri. March 24th BPD in partnership with Field Local Schools and other area K-9 teams completed a random drug check at Field High School and Field Middle School.  Thanks to our staff and students, all went smoothly.  One juvenile was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, otherwise both school buildings checked clear.

Retired K-9 Joker Makes an Appearance

Capt. Adkins had retired K-9 Joker with him last week when he was participating in area K-9 Team evaluations.  Joker had to take just a little time to show all of the young pups that he’s still got it!  K-9 Joker served BPD from 2007-2013.

BPD Officers Recognized by University Hospitals

Officer Pettit and Officer Diehl were recently recognized by University Hospitals for their role in providing assistance to a child birth.  Mom and baby are doing fine!  Thank you to UH for their recognition of BPD and BFD staff.

BPD at Boy Scout Troop 259 Pancake Breakfast
